Ossila Welcomes the Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire
On the 2nd of December, Ossila had the honor of welcoming Professor Dame Hilary Chapman, the Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire, to our Sheffield headquarters for the official presentation of the 2024 King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
The award, announced on the 6th of May 2024, recognizes Ossila’s significant growth in international markets and our contributions to providing accessible scientific equipment and materials around the world. The formal presentation ceremony was a celebration of this achievement with the Ossila team.
During the visit, the Lord-Lieutenant toured Ossila’s head office and manufacturing site, meeting team members across all departments, from customer care to research & development. Staff showcased Ossila’s innovative equipment and shared insights into the processes and technologies that underpin our success in international trade. The tour also highlighted the pivotal role of our customer care team, whose expertise ensures seamless interactions with international markets and supports our global reputation for excellence.
The King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade marks a significant milestone in Ossila’s journey, reaffirming our dedication to providing high-quality, accessible tools for researchers worldwide. Building on our success in winning the Queen's Award for International Trade in 2018, we have remained steadfast in our mission to enable science worldwide, navigating substantial global trade challenges in the years since.
