We are looking for an experienced Business Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving Ossila through the next phase of growth. In this position you will take ownership of critical business functions, including HR, finance, and general operations, while also leading a range of high-impact projects essential for the success and growth of a thriving tech company. By taking point on the operational running of the company, you will allow the Managing Director to focus on strategic growth through increased sales, innovative R&D, and product development.
About the Role
Ossila is a growing high-tech business with offices in Sheffield, UK, and the Netherlands. Over 85% of our goods are exported to customers in over 90 countries worldwide through multiple sales channels. As well as manufacturing on site, we also conduct R&D to develop our market-disrupting equipment and run an advanced chemical synthesis lab, all while offering high-level technical support to a niche customer base. Our technical product offering, innovative development pipeline, and global reach create a unique level of complexity rarely seen in a small company (~50 staff), offering an exciting and rewarding challenge for the Business Manager.
This role provides an exceptional opportunity to gain insight into almost every aspect of running a small-to-medium sized enterprise. For the right candidate, you can make a significant impact on a growing business while acquiring broader experience than is typically available in larger organisations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and relish the idea of helping a small company as it punches up in the world, we’d love to hear from you.
