Interface Polymers

Interface polymers are used to improve adhesion, compatibility, or other interfacial interactions between dissimilar materials, such as polymers and metals, polymers and ceramics, or polymers and composites.

Key Properties

  • High charge carrier mobility. The structure of the interfacial polymer can allow electrons or holes to move rapidly to their respective electrodes.
  • Enhanced interfacial properties. Interface polymers improve the contact between the active layer and electrode, reducing interface barriers and enabling more efficient charge transfer.
  • Improved adhesion between two materials. By forming molecular interactions at the interface, these materials helps to prevent delamination and ensures the structural integrity of the solar devices over time.
  • Thermal management. Interface polymers can dissipate heat away from sensitive components.

Our collection of electron/hole transporting interface polymer materials are ideal for use in OFETs, OLEDs, OPVs, and perovskite solar cells.
