How to Assemble an XYZ Linear Stage System
Captions
- Unscrew the six screws indicated with the provided Allen (hex) key to unfasten the top plate.
- With the stage in a central position, slide out the top plate through the slot in the stage.
- Move the stage to an edge position in order to access the screw holes which fasten the system to the breadboard.
- Insert the M6 screws into the corner screw holes and tighten with the provided Allen (hex) key.
- With the stage in a central position again, slide the top plate back into position through the slot in the stage and screw in the 6 screws removed before.
- Removing the top plate for the second system as done for the first, line up the screw holes in the first and second stages, ensuring the stages will move perpendicularly.
- Insert and tighten the M6 screws in the following holes using the provided Allen key.
- Slide the top plate back in through the slot, as before.
- Again, after removing the top plate, position the third system on the second stage as such and line up the screw holes.
- Insert M6 screws into the four holes and tighten with the provided Allen key.
- Slide the top plate back in through the slot in the stage.
- Tighten the screws that fasten the plate.
- The stages can be controlled individually through the Linear Stage Software.
