Slot Die Coater Meniscus Guides
Slot die coating heads require the use of shims to define the channel openings width. In addition it is recommended that a meniscus guide is used to aid in pinning of the coating width to help better define the coating. Ossila sell a range of slot die meniscus guides in packs of 3 with predefined coating widths and lip depths. These meniscus guides are compatible with either our 50mm slot-die head or our 100mm slot die head.
In addition to meniscus guides we also sell slot-die heads, and shims which help to define the coating width of your deposited film. We also offer custom shim, and meniscus guides. Our custom meniscus guide and shim options allow for multi strip coatings.

*It is recommended that at 50mm or below users should switch to the 50mm head as coating distribution at these lower widths is better optimised in this head.
