Type 1 Tweezers
The type one tweezers have sharp, narrow points. They are extremely useful for removing substrates from evaporation masks, because their narrow points enable them to fit easily into corners. Additionally, they can be used to scratch away thin-films on substrates to electrically separate different layers.
Type 2A Tweezers
Conversely, the type 2A tweezers have a wider, flatter tip. They provide a good substrate grip without scratching. As such, they are great for general purpose use, and for lifting substrates out of sample boxes.
