Oval magnetic stir bars with a virgin PTFE coating, specifically designed to maximize stirring efficiency in 2 mL and 4 mL vials, as well as round-bottom flasks. The PTFE coating ensures excellent solvent compatibility, ideal for precise stirring in low-volume reactions.
While PTFE is compatible with a wide range of solvents, please double-check compatibility before use. For highly sensitive reactions, we recommend using a fresh magnetic stir bar to avoid contamination. In some instances use a dedicated stir bar for specific critical reactions. Otherwise, the stir bars are reusable after appropriate cleaning.
