High purity sublimed narrowband multi-resonance thermally activated delayed fluorescent (MR-TADF) emitter for highly efficient OLEDs, 2,6-bis(3,6-di-tert-butyl-9H-carbazol-9-yl)boron, CAS No. 2170487-30-4, Sublimed ≥99.0%
DtBuCzB is a carbazole-based triphenylboron MR-TADF material. DtBuCzB has a skeleton structure of CzBN with four bulky peripheral tert-butyl side groups that are evenly distributed on the 3,6-positions of two carbazole rings. The extended π-conjugation generated intensified oscillator strength with narrow greenish blue emission at 481 nm, a FWHM of 22 nm, and a PLQY of 91% in dilute toluene solution. Red-shifted emission spectrum is observed in the corresponding OLED devices producing a high color purity emission at 488 nm, FWHM of 29 nm and maximum EQE of 21.6%.
Sublimed grade
High purity >99.0%

Quick and reliable shipping
Developing MR-TADF materials
High external quantum efficiency of 21.6%
Narrow band emission
Full-width half-maximum of 29 nm
DtBuCzB has a similar structure to t-DABNA with the phenyl rings from two two phenylamines being joined to form two side carbazolyl substructures. Due to the extended conjugation by connecting the phenyl rings, DtBuCzB is relatively red-shifted in absorption and emission while compared with those of t-DABNA.
