Graphene Oxide Dispersion for Easy Solution Processing

4 mg/ml, high single layer ratio (> 95%) graphene oxide dispersion in H2O

Product Information | MSDS | Literature and Reviews | Related Products

Rich in oxygen functional groups and particularly on the edges, graphene oxide (GO) is the oxidized form of graphene which is a single atomic layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice. Graphene oxide is hydrophilic due to the enriched oxygen functional groups, allowing it to be dispersed in both aqueous and polar organic solvents, i.e. ethanol, DMF or NMP.

Graphene oxide dispersion at designated concentration is ready for use by various solution processing techniques such as spin, spray or slot-die coating. GO water dispersion has the advantages of easy, safe and economic process than that in its powder form. GO water dispersion can also diluted by simply adding distilled water, with the help of sonication for a higher ratio of single layered graphene oxide.

Applications

With its high surface area and promising electrical, thermal, mechanical, and structural properties, graphene oxide finds diverse application in the following areas.

  • Electronics (Graphene oxide/PEDOT: PSS composite HTL)
  • Tissue engineering (PEG functionalized graphene oxide in tissue engineering)
  • Energy storage (Electro-material for energy storage)
  • Photocatalytic reactions (Graphene oxide/metal oxides nanocomposites)
  • Biosensors (Biosensor-based graphene oxide-DNA nanohybrid)
  • Biomedical drug delivery (Functionalized graphene oxide as a vehicle for targeted drug delivery and bioimaging)
