Specifications | MSDS | Literature and Reviews
1,2,4,5-Tetra((4-aminophenyl)ethynyl)benzene (TAEB), CAS number 2375652-88-1, has a benzene core with four ethynyl bridges at 1,2,4,5-positions that are connecting four 4-aniline functional groups. 1,2,4,5-Tetra((4-aminophenyl)ethynyl)benzene is a cross-like highly symmetrical tecton that is commonly engaged in the construction of microporous covalent organic frameworks (COFs) via the peripheral amino functional groups to condense with aldehydes or acids to form imine or amide linkers.
1,2,4,5-Tetra((4-aminophenyl)ethynyl)benzene was prepared by reacting 4-ethynylaniline with 1,2,4,5-tetrabromobenzene via Sonogashira cross coupling reaction in the presence of Pd(PPh3)4 and copper iodide as catalysts.
