Specifications | MSDS | Literature and Reviews
[1,1':3',1''-Terphenyl]-3,3'',5,5''-tetracarbaldehyde (TPTA) is a v-shaped building block carrying two aldehyde groups sitting on the each end of the benzene rings at meta-positions to each other.
Full crystalline-to-crystalline exchange happens with triple-pore TP-COF-BZ, a COF consisting of [1,1':3',1''-terphenyl]-3,3'',5,5''-tetracarbaldehyde and benzidine alternating units, when 10 eq. of 1,4-diaminobenzene is presented in the suspensions of TP-COF-BZ in COF growth conditions. The linker exchange is due to the increased ratio of electron-donating amine groups in 1,4-diaminobenzene, yielding a new highly crystalline organic framework TP-COF-DAB.
