Specifically developed for passive matrix displays with a PEDOT:PSS ratio of 1:20. Low conductive aqueous P VP CH 8000 (CAS number 155090-83-8) has been used to replace the widely adopted, high conductive Al 4083 in blue and white emitting polymer light-emitting diodes (PLED) to achieve high efficiencies. It is understood that low conductivity PEDOT:PSS formulations can prevent cross talk between neighbouring pixels in display applications that the out-of-plane conductivity is encouraged. As a standard hole injection material offering a more balanced hole and electron flux, and lower leakage current, CH 8000 PEDOT:PSS is suitable for spin coating OLED devices.
